NCB busts 'date rape' drug deal at Porvorim (ToI)

TNN | Dec 27, 2013, 01.46 AM IST PANAJI: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Goa, has seized 450 bottles of 'date rape drug' Ketamine liquid, worth 1 crore in the international market. The drug is used for rave parties and it is consumed with different types of liquids. Sources said that the NCB were tipped about a deal supposed to take place at Porvorim. On receiving the information, an NCB team laid the trap and arrested three Goan youth, including the drug dealer. Sources said that the accused had come to Porvorim to negotiate the deal.
