Panjikar also said that another 26 BJP functionaries illegally stayed as state guests. "It is difficult to imagine that the party that boasts of zero tolerance to corruption and claims to be a party with a difference is indulging is such falsehoods," Panjikar said. He said "the government's protocol department booked 49 rooms in the Marriott, nine rooms in the Cidade de Goa and one each in the Taj Aguada and Leela Beach".
