Goa proposes two marinas under PPP model (ToI)

PANAJI: The state government has decided to build two marinas in the state to offer yachts from foreign countries anchorage facility through private public participation (PPP) model.
Chief minister Manohar Parrikar, who is also ports minister said that the captain of ports department has initiated preliminary steps to set up two marinas in the state of Goa.
He also said that a marina would come up in river Tiracol in north Goa and the other in river Talpona in south Goa under the PPP model.
Replying to opposition leader Pratapsingh Rane's question in Goa assembly regarding the commissioning of the project, Parrikar said that since the subject matter is in its initial stage, it will be premature to say anything or provide details at this stage.
