'Drunk casino clients harassing Panjimites' TNN | Sep 18, 2013, 03.18 AM IST PANAJI: Corporation of the city of Panaji ( CCP) mayor Surendra Furtado has written to the state director general of police (DGP), Kishan Kumar, requesting him to depute police officials along the Dayanand Bandodkar marg between the captain of ports and Santa Monica jetties to round up persons who create nuisance under the influence of alcohol. Furtado said he was writing the letter based on complaints he has received from some citizens. He demanded action against those drinking in public pointing out that some persons move with beer bottles and cans at night and even in the wee hours.
