Mother Mhadei is under threat?
Or, is this one among those numerous 'now or never' doomsday stories post liberation? Is it another in those series of hysteric alarm bells of 'if not now when? If you are not with us then you are against us' kind of dilemmas in the traditional blackmailing tactics?
Soon it will be the traditional social pressure tactics of "everyone is supporting why not you? Don't you want to save Mother Goa?"
This reminds me of my school days when a salesman of paper craft came to our class and began his demo on paper flower making techniques. He kept emphasising "rolling same cutting diiferent".
This is the same story of Goa's deceptive activism with the same 'flying monkeys' of the same mentally sick political regime deployed in new avatars to Save Mhadei, Save Goa'.
No lessons learnt by Goans from past experiences with these flying monkeys who were the same culprits supporting merger, Konkan railway and marathi or devnagiri script, Meta strips, ... to humiliate minorities. It is these same flying monkeys who portray and oppose any movement to save Goa over which they have no political control by claiming a threat to Hindu supremacy.
These are same flying monkeys who use minorities to show crowds and kick them no sooner the job is done.
But why can't Goans see the similarity in mindset of the 'Desh khatre mein hai' and 'Hindu Khatre mein hai' now manipulating goans with 'Goa khatre mein hai' and 'Mhadei khatre mein hai'.
We time and again fail to recognise the dragon behind the smile.
When will we be enlightened enough to see that all these issues are mere fallouts of antisocials capturing political space and recruiting flying monkeys to fool and divide the public over one or the other issue in the run up to every election.
Chronology aur timing samaj lijiye bhai!
