PANJIM: The Socialist Party of India, having its branch office in Goa has slammed the Manohar Parrikar government for failing to properly implement educational schemes in the State.
“Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar announced many schemes for the educational institutions in Goa but without clear cut policy there will not be proper implementation of educational schemes,” State party chief Vinayak Naik said on Tuesday.
He demanded that a thorough discussion with senior educationists is a must. Naik pulled up the government on another issue of medium of instruction which is lingering for a long time sans any decision.
The party has also demanded that government inculcate reading habits among the children and as such, it should provide infrastructure for this purpose.
