Casino tax nets Rs 90 crore (Herald)

October 12, 2013 PANJIM: The Goa government has collected revenue of approximately Rs 90 crores as aggregate sum in terms of entertainment and entry tax from five offshore casinos anchored in River Mandovi during the 2012-13 fiscal. This is nearly Rs 11 crore more than the previous year. Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar informed that while Rs 79.65 crore were collected from the offshore casinos as entertainment tax, Rs 10.04 crore was the entry fee from visitors. http://www.heraldgoa.in/News/Local%20News/Casino-tax-nets-Rs-90-crore/80576.html
